Integrating Ultrasound Into Your Practice?
I can help you do it properly from the start.
Setting up ultrasound in a clinical practice is not just a question of purchasing a machine. It requires a clear understanding of the right equipment for your scope of practice, protocols tailored to your patient population, and the foundational training to use it with confidence from day one.
Through my consulting and onboarding service, I work directly with clinicians, clinics, and organisations to ensure that ultrasound integration is done strategically, safely, and in a way that delivers real clinical value from the outset.
Whether you are a solo practitioner who has just invested in your first machine, an aesthetic clinic expanding into imaging, or a larger organisation wanting to upskill a team, I provide the guidance and hands-on support to make it work.
What Consulting Covers
Equipment and Setup
Not all ultrasound machines are equal, and the right choice depends entirely on your clinical environment and intended use. I advise on machine selection and help you set up your equipment, settings, and workflow so you are not starting from scratch or making costly mistakes.
Protocol Development
I work with you to establish scanning protocols that are appropriate for your scope of practice and patient base. This includes guidance on image acquisition, documentation standards, and when and how to refer on when findings are outside your scope.
Onboarding and Team Training
If you are bringing ultrasound into a multi-practitioner setting, I provide structured onboarding for your team so that practice is consistent, safe, and clinically sound across all staff from the beginning.
Ongoing Support
I offer ongoing consultation for clinicians who want a trusted resource as they develop their scanning skills and encounter more complex presentations. Think of it as having an expert colleague available when you need one.
Who This Is For
-
Aesthetic practitioners integrating facial ultrasound into their clinics
Sonographers and allied health clinicians expanding into new imaging areas
Clinics and organisations establishing ultrasound programs for the first time
Practitioners who want to ensure their existing setup is optimised
Why Work With Me
I have been working in clinical ultrasound since 1993 and have spent more than 25 years teaching practitioners at every level, from students just starting out to experienced specialists refining their advanced skills. I understand what it takes to move from acquiring an image to genuinely trusting your interpretation and acting on it with confidence.
I hold a Master of Science (Research, UNSW), a Fellowship of Ultrasound with the Australasian Sonographers Association, and am currently completing my PhD at UNSW. I have published over 35 peer-reviewed papers and present both nationally and internationally. I am also a co-director of LDL Solutions, Australia's first ultrasound-guided filler complication management service.
When you work with me on consulting, you are getting advice grounded in decades of real clinical experience, not generic guidance.
